Aston Martin Vantage (05 - present)
There are few cars deserving of the title 'iconic', but the Aston Martin Vantage is surely one of them. Its world-famous silhouette is instantly recognisable and few badges are likely to inspire as much envy and admiration than that of this super sportscar, hand built across the pond in the UK. It's been updated several times over the years, its latest incarnation featuring a 4.7l V8 engine that can produce 426 PS and complete the 0 – 60 sprint in less than 5 seconds (4.9 to be precise). Despite this, it remains comfortable and quiet enough to be a snug daily driver, with that beautifully crafted interior a constant reminder of its prestige. The limited number of these produced make it unlikely to be tested by Euro NCAP but it is fitted with some very powerful brakes and Dynamic Stablility Control for peace of mind on more 'spirited' drives.

- Don't expect a 4.7l V8 to be cheap to run either!
