Volvo S80 (06 - present)
The Volvo S80 is the kind of car that offers people looking to buy an executive saloon an alternative to the likes of the Mercedes E-Class or the BMW 5-Series. There are buyers who would prefer something a little different. The S80 certainly is different. It looks as sophisticated as its rivals and the comfort levels in the cabin are probably the best in class. It bears a resemblance to the original S80, but with more of a modern twist, so it will appeal to Volvo enthusiasts. There is good spread of standard kit and plenty of safety features. It is user-friendly and you won’t be disappointed when you sit in to drive. The handling is excellent; the steering feels a bit vague but the ride quality is supple.
