Volvo V60 (10 - present)
Volvo estates have certainly changed and grown over the years. They’ve shed the anonymous appearance and are no longer dull drivers. The V60 is one of the most highly regarded estates. It’s now a robust and practical piece of machinery. Volvo have taken on the elites such as BMW’s 3-Series Touring, the Audi A4 Avant and the Mercedes C-Class estate with this. There is a high level of practicality and a lot of interior room, as well as a good sized boot. It is also nicely designed. Inside there are some of the most comfortable seats you will come across. The dashboard/centre console is neatly laid out and dials are easy to find and use. On the road, it handles well; the steering is responsive and the ride quality is smooth.
