Chevrolet Kalos (05 - 08)
Prior to the 2005 launch, the Kalos came with the Daewoo badge so people already knew the car before it became a Chevrolet. The only difference between the two is that the previous one was a three-door and this is a five-door but style, driving ability, build quality, and price largely remain the same. The interior is quite comfortable and spacious enough for up to four adults, although there isn’t much head room. Not only is it an inexpensive car to run it’s great value for money because it’s really simple to drive and for the price you pay there’s a fair amount of standard equipment. In terms of driving, it’s slightly improved over its Daewoo counterpart. It’s not the most exciting on the road but it is competent and steady. The handling is pretty good, it grips well and the steering, although light, feels fairly precise. The Kalos is surprisingly nimble and planted on corners. There’s slight body roll but not enough to put you off.
