They made it better, much better and added a frugal new engine but probably most important they were able to reduce the price. That’s the sort of mix Irish buyers love. Especially as it is competing against some big names, such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Ford Kuga and the Honda CR-V. Now into its fourth generation, it is better looking than before and is roomier. There’s a lot of space in the cabin where five can sit in comfort and there’s lots of leg and head room. The boot is a good size too and the rear seats can fold down to increase the load space. The cabin design is clean and simple and comfortable. The seats are excellent and the dashboard is smartly designed. On the road, it is an excellent performer, the handling and steering are excellent, the gear-shift is decisive, and the ride feels smooth.
