Audi A5 (09 - 16)
This is an intriguingly good looking car. It has plenty of room in the rear of the cabin and a sizeable boot, even without folding the seats down. The interior remains much the same as the coupe. It’s well designed; it looks and feels high-end while the layout of the cabin and dashboard emphasise how upmarket this really is. On the road, there are even more similarities to the coupe. For example, the handling is excellent and it feels well-planted on corners. The ride is slightly on the firm side but this adds to the driving experience, making you feel even more involved.
Look out for
• There were few complaints made about the parking brake. Make sure it is checked when getting brakes serviced
What we like
• There’s plenty of space for passengers in the rear of the cabin
• The Sportback is really comfortable
• Good range of capable engines
• Great handling on roundabouts and winding roads
What we don't like
• Like the coupe, the suspension can be a bit on the firm side
