Volkswagen Passat CC (08 - 11)
For fans of the Volkswagen Passat, the CC should be a very tempting option, especially if your main priority is practicality. The CC has all of the classic and popular Passat traits, including an understated yet classy appearance both inside and out, and a solid reputation for being extremely reliable. The main difference between the two is that the CC is longer, wider, and lower than the standard Passat so there’s even more passenger space in this version. The cabin now oozes enough refinement and luxury to make it a genuine competitor to the Audis and BMWs of the segment. When it comes to driving the car, Volkswagen rarely disappoint in terms of comfort, control, and handling. The CC is no exception. Although it’s a luxury car you’ll still get a hint of sportiness on the road thanks to the excellent ACC chassis. In terms of engines, the gutsy diesels provide a powerful performance and are really efficient in terms of fuel usage and CO2 emissions.
