Citroen DS4 (11 - present)
The DS4 shows what they can do with a car. It is on the C4 but it is markedly different. The interior trims and materials feel really up-market and expensive (that is not reflected in the reasonable price) and it looks sportier. There is decent space and you will carry four adults in comfort. The boot is a decent size and can hold some large items. The engine range includes the sizzling and powerful THP200. There are some impressive fuel usage and emissions figures from the engines. The DS4 is a real cracker on the road. You could say it drives as well as it looks. It handles well and the steering is decent, while the acceleration from the torquey engines is excellent. It is easy to park and manoeuvre in tight spaces.
