BMW 3-Series Touring (12 - present)
This has all of the traits of the 3-Series saloon, but with the Touring you’re getting more bang for your buck. It’s basically the same car except for the larger cargo area and tailgate, which means a lot more practicality. The seating is room and there is plenty of storage space in the boot. The cabin is comfortable and there’s tonnes of kit, which includes some innovative gadgets as standard. It handles well on tight corners and the steering is sharp and decisive. In fact, it’s that good on the road you could be forgiven for thinking you’re driving the saloon version. The ride quality is smooth for the most part but it can be a touch on the firm side when driving at slow speeds. The superb chassis keeps it from rolling too much on corners.
