Toyota Land Cruiser (09 - present)
Ask any Irish owner and they will tell you this is the best large SUV on the market. Most of the 4x4s today are built with the view of making them primarily on-road vehicles. The Land Cruiser is excellent on and off the road. Indeed there are those who say that not only is it a superb off-roader, it is just as good, if not better, than many large cars on the tarmac. It handles extremely well and is robustly comfortable. On the road it just cruises along and you are well cushioned from the bumps and crevices. Off-road, it just keeps on going. Even if you are the kind of driver that obsesses over standard spec, the Land Cruiser ticks the boxes as it is well kitted out. In a big cabin, each passenger (it can hold up to seven) has plenty of leg and head room. Lots of boot space too.
