2010 CITROEN C3 PICASSO 1.6 HDI 16V VTR+ 5DR

This is a car that suited many Irish families in recent times. It is a clever small MPV with a lot of room and frugal engines. It has helped Citroen establish themselves as major players in this end of the market. It’s a great family car with loads of practicality and the distinctive looks that sets Citroens apart. There’s good cabin room and lots of storage space in the boot and you can fit five. The rear seats fold completely flat providing space that could rival a van. The interior itself is nicely designed and Citroen have fitted trims that look and feel high-end. It drives really well, the handling is responsive and the suspension copes well with uneven road surfaces. It’s only when you take a corner at speed you notice that it begins to drag a bit, but you can make allowances for that given its size. It’s particularly easy to park and manoeuvre thanks to the short bonnet and upright tailgate.

•  Little or no road noise in the cabin even when driving at high speeds
•  The ride quality is smooth even on uneven surfaces

•  It can lag a bit when taking on corners at speed
•  Leg room on the inside could be a bit better
