BMW 2-Series Active Tourer (14 - Present)
Quite a departure for BMW, the arrival of the 2 Series Active Tourer has divided opinions amongst fans of the brand. A front wheel drive BM? And a people carrier at that? But when you think about it it makes sense – why should the requirement for space and practicality mean sacrificing on image and refinement? In fact it's a mystery why they haven't entered the segment before now. The Active tourer comes with all the luxury you'd expect from the brand with a smartly designed and spacious cabin, generous equipment levels, and even with front wheel drive, excellent handling and responsive steering mean the ride quality still lives up to the badge. Engine choice is a straight call between a petrol or a diesel and both offer a great mix of performance and economy. The Active Tourer brings a much needed influx of desirability to the traditionally uncool MPV market.
